Hop Up Buckings are the working part of the hop up unit. The better the bucking, the more spin can be put onto the bb as it leaves the barrel. The greater the spin, the heavier the bb that can be used and the simple physics of all of this is that the bb goes further and is effected less by wind. Basically you get better accuracy and range.
