The handguard has a 20mm rope rail perfect for mounting scopes/optics. This rifle also features Ares' new EFCS gearbox system (Electronic Firing Control System) that allows the gearbox to be programmed to be a semi, 3 round burst or full auto, along with a quick change spring system.
