Paintball Bottles - Which one do I need
Paintball Co2 Bottles
Co2 bottles are filled with liquid Co2. That liquid Co2 is under a pressure of around 800psi at ambient temperature. The pressure inside the bottle goes up and down with outside temperature. This means that shots can be inconsistent. As a rule, if you have an electronic paintball gun, you should not be running Co2
Paintball Air Bottles
Air bottles are filled with high pressure air which is regulated down to around 800psi by the pressure regulator fitted to the bottle. Compressed air is not effected by temperature and so shots tend to be consistent. You can run both mechanical and electronic paintball guns with a compressed air bottle.
