Quick Summary
The Melissa & Doug Tote & Tour Pet Travel Play Set is a 15-piece pretend play set with a plush cat and dog plus travel-themed accessories. It centres on a soft pet carrier with a handle, side pockets and a removable pet bed, giving the set a clear carry-and-store format for role play.
The included pieces also cover a leash, collar, harness, 2 write-on name tags, a collapsible food and water dish, a reversible food and water insert, a ball and a reusable checklist. It is a pet travel play set rather than a real pet product, so the main things to compare are the piece count, the included accessories and whether the format suits the child’s style of pretend play.

What to Compare Before Buying
- Set contents: This is a 15-piece play set, so check that the plush animals and travel accessories match what you want included.
- Play format: The carrier, bed and accessories create a travel theme, so it suits buyers who want pet-themed pretend play rather than a single plush toy.
- Personalisation: The write-on name tags and reusable checklist add a personal touch, so compare that with how the child likes to play.
Before You Decide
Confirm that you want the full 15-piece pet travel play set, including the plush cat and dog, carrier and accessories. The main choice is whether the travel-themed format and mix of pretend care items suit the intended play style.
