Shipping and Returns
We have a number of delivery options.
Free Delivery - Takes 5-7 days so don't use free delivery if you want an order for the weekend.
£7.50 - We get your order to you as fast as we can.
Although every effort is made to ensure that goods arrive in good condition, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of the courier used. Any damages must be signed for 'damaged' on the receipt for delivery, and claimed for in accordance with the carrier's terms and conditions. The customer upon placing the order accepts the risk of damage.
We aim to deliver all orders by next day delivery (this does not include the day the order was placed or weekends) this is an aim but not a guarantee and does not form any contract between Fat Bob's and the customer. Returns & Exchanges
In addition to the Distance Selling Regulations set out below. Please read the following before you attempt to return any products.
If you are wanting to return a product
1) Call or email us explaining why you need to return a product.
2) We will give you a unique RMA number (Returns Number) and send you a returns form.
3) The RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the box and the completed RMA form must be inside the box.
4) You cannot return a product if you have broken it, the product can only be returned under a manufacturers warranty.
Manufacturers warranty does not include.
a) You bending the barrel
b) Snapping wires when trying to fit after market products
c) Stripping threads on screws due to over tightening.
d) Dropping the product and breaking it
e) Filling it with mud and jamming the mechanism.
f) Incorrect battery voltage damaging motors or gearboxes.
g) Damage of batteries due to incorrect chargers.
h) Modifications that your mate says are great but stop the equipment from working.
We send all warranty returns back to the manufacturer for professional appraisal and replacement / fixing. They know how a product has been damaged and will not fix or replace products that you have damaged yourself. Returns can incure a substantial amount of shipping charges which you will be liable for if you attempt to return a product that has been damaged by you. Warranty return is not a "Tech" service, it is a way that manufacturers guarantee their products. It is not a way to rectify problems you have caused by mis-use.
There are a number of rules concerning orders under the European Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund within seven days of delivery.
To cancel you must write to us within seven days of delivery of your items, quoting your order number. You, the consumer, are obliged to take reasonable care of the items and return them in unused condition with the original packaging and accompanied by the original receipt. The consumer is obliged to return the goods at their own cost within 30 days; Fat Bob's will not refund this cost. The customer is responsible for the goods until they are back in the possession of Fat Bob's, the customer must claim for any damages caused on the return from the courier used. If the goods are not returned in unused condition then the right to full refund is forfeited.
When returning items that are deemed to be faulty you must contact us by telephone, prior to sending the articles back and obtain instructions and an RMA reference from Fat Bob's. Second hand items, or items that are described as seconds, are not deemed as being faulty for the imperfections disclosed at the time of sale.

We will give refunds in accordance with your legal rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 i.e. where goods are not of satisfactory quality or as described.
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, willful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufacture's instructions, misuse, or alteration or repair of the goods.
In other instances we will consider an exchange or credit note provided that the goods are returned promptly; in their original condition and with the receipt.
Please remember that once the 7 day period allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations has lapsed you are not legally entitled to a refund if:
… You have changed your mind about the goods.
… You find that you no longer need the goods.
You are not entitled to a refund under any circumstances if;
… You have damaged the goods.
… You were aware of a stated defect before you bought the goods.
All items sold are accompanied with the respective manufacturers warranty. Your statutory rights are not affected
At our discretion we may take goods back after the period of 7 days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations. These returned goods may be subject to a 20% re stocking fee. Goods returned under the sale of goods act would not be liable to the re stocking fee.
