What to Compare Before Buying
- Fit: Compare your dog’s girth with the stated 43-56 cm range for X-Small.
- Size choice: If the measurement is borderline, a larger size is noted as the safer option to check.
- Handling: Consider whether you need the grab handle, leg loops and tie-in point for your planned use.
- Care: Check that hand washing and air drying suit how you plan to maintain it.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
This harness is for dogs, with the X-Small size stated for very small breeds such as Jack Russell terriers, Yorkshire terriers and similar sizes. The key check is girth measurement around the widest part of the rib cage, behind the front legs.
The adjustable straps help refine the fit across the shoulders, chest, belly and hind legs. Because fit matters for this type of harness, compare the dog’s measurement carefully before choosing the size.
What Is Included
1 x Ruffwear Climbing Harness for Dogs in X-Small, Cloudburst Grey. The harness is identified as the Doubleback Harness.
Care, Cleaning and Storage
Hand wash with mild detergent and air dry. That makes it easier to keep the harness clean without using harsher cleaning methods.
Before You Decide
Confirm the X-Small girth range suits your dog, and check whether you need the adjustable fit, grab handle and tie-in point for your intended use. If the dog’s measurement sits near the limit, compare against the next size up before choosing.
