About Us

FatBobs is a UK outdoor activity and product discovery platform built to help people find the right gear for getting outside. We cover outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment across activities including hiking, camping, cycling, running, watersports, climbing, travel and more.

Our aim is simple: make it easier to discover useful outdoor products, understand the options available and find equipment suited to the activity you actually want to do.

FatBobs brings together products, categories and practical information in one place, helping shoppers move from research to the right product with less hassle.

Our Heritage

FatBobs has been part of the UK action-sports and outdoor retail world since 1995. The business originally began as a specialist paintball and airsoft shop, supplying equipment to people who were serious about their sport and wanted knowledgeable, specialist service.

Over the years, the FatBobs name became associated with activity-led retail, specialist equipment and customers who preferred getting outside and doing something rather than simply buying products for the sake of it.

Today, FatBobs is evolving that heritage into a broader outdoor platform. Paintball and airsoft are part of where we came from, but the focus now extends across hiking, camping, cycling, running, watersports, climbing, travel and the wider outdoor lifestyle.

The idea remains much the same as it was in 1995: understand the activity, find the right equipment and help people get out there.
