Quick Summary
The Hamax Cocoon Grey/Black Single is a child bike trailer that can also be used as a stroller and jogger. It is presented as a multifunctional child carrier with an easy-to-access brake, detachable rear bags and a raincover stored in a rear pocket with a zipper.
For buyers, the main checks are whether the single-seat format suits the intended child transport need, and whether the trailer, stroller and jogger functions match how it will be used day to day.

What to Compare Before Buying
- Single format: This version is a single child carrier, so check that this matches the number of passengers you need to transport.
- Mode of use: Compare how often you expect to use it as a bike trailer, stroller or jogger, since this model is described as covering all three roles.
- Brake access: If you expect to use it on slopes, the easy-to-access brake is a useful feature to check against your route and handling needs.
- Storage arrangement: The detachable rear bags and rear raincover pocket affect how you carry essentials and store the cover when it is not in use.
Using It in Practice
The detachable rear bags are useful when you want to carry extras separately from the main trailer space, and the description notes that they can be taken into shops, coffee shops or similar stops. The raincover is kept in a rear pocket and can be pulled over quickly if the weather changes while you are out.
Before You Decide
Confirm that the Grey/Black Single version is the correct format for your needs, and check that the trailer, stroller and jogger functions suit your intended use. Also consider how the brake, detachable bags and raincover storage arrangement fit the routes and routine you have in mind.
