What to Compare Before Buying
- Space: The stated 230 cm length and 80 cm shoulder width are the main size checks. Compare them with the space you need for sleeping and movement.
- Packed dimensions: The 25 x 12 cm packed size matters if you are planning a compact pack.
- Weight: At 440 g, the carry weight is an important part of the decision for smaller load plans.
- Entry layout: The full-length zipped entry and rain flap affect access and weather protection at the opening.
- Waterproof construction: The upper and base are both described with waterproof features, so compare those details with the conditions you expect to face.
Who This Product May Suit
This bivi suits buyers who want a single-person shelter with a compact packed size, low stated weight and a waterproof construction. It is also relevant if you want a model with a zipped entry rather than a simple closed bag shape.
What Is Included
The described item is the Rab Alpine Bivi Horizon 1-person bivi. The main named features are the zipped main entry, external rain flap, Pertex Shield Air upper and taped waterproof base.
Important Limitations
The single-person format and stated dimensions make size a central check. Buyers who need more room, a different layout, or a larger shelter should compare another option.
Before You Decide
Confirm the 1-person format, the 230 cm x 80 cm size, and the 440 g weight against your needs. Check the packed size as well if carry space matters. The zipped entry and waterproof construction are key features to review before choosing an offer.
