Quick Summary
Tuoni thermal sports gloves are designed for children aged 6-13+ and a range of outdoor sports. The gloves combine stretch fabric and a brushed fleece lining with a silicone-patterned palm.
Check the sizing guide before choosing, as the stated age range does not establish an individual child’s hand fit.
Key Details
| Detail | Product information and buyer relevance |
|---|---|
| Age range | 6-13+. |
| Fabric | Italian Roubaix fabric, described as 15% Lycra. |
| Lining | Soft, brushed fleece lining. |
| Wrist fastening | Adjustable hook-and-loop strap. |
| Palm | Mesh palm with silicone-patterned grip. |
Key Features Explained
The stretch in the Roubaix fabric is intended to follow the shape of the hand. The adjustable wrist strap helps with putting the gloves on and taking them off.
The silicone pattern is intended to assist grip and reduce slipping while allowing the wearer to feel items such as a ball, racket or bike brakes. This describes the design purpose, not a guaranteed level of control.
What to Compare Before Buying
- Size: Use the product’s sizing guide when selecting a size. Age alone may not indicate the right fit.
- Activity: Consider whether the gloves’ stated grip and fit features match the sport or outdoor activity they are for.
Compatibility, Size and Fit
The stated age range is 6-13+, but the description does not give hand measurements or a size-to-age breakdown. Consult the sizing guide before choosing. The wrist strap is adjustable, but this does not replace checking the glove size.
Who This Product May Suit
The gloves are described for children’s outdoor sports including cycling, rugby, football, netball, running and horse riding. Walking outdoors is also mentioned. Choose based on the intended activity and the child’s fit, rather than assuming one size suits the full age range.
Before You Decide
Check the sizing guide, confirm the selected size suits the child’s hand, and consider whether the silicone-patterned palm and adjustable wrist strap fit the intended activity.
