Quick Summary
The Salewa Alpinist Alu Combi is a unisex crampon in green, black, orange, grey and blue. It is described as a lightweight aluminium crampon with anti-balling plates, made for snow and not too demanding ice.
The semi-automatic rubber front cage and rear attachment are intended for boots with a rear notch. For buyers, the key checks are boot compatibility, intended ground and whether the chosen offer includes the plates.

Compatibility, Size and Fit
This model is stated as suitable for boots with a rear notch. That makes boot compatibility the main check before choosing an offer.
For a correct fit, compare the boot shape and rear notch arrangement with the attachment style. The unisex format helps describe the item, but the boot fit still needs to match the crampon system.
What Else You May Need
Boots with a rear notch are required for the stated attachment style. If the boots do not match that setup, this crampon is not the right choice.
Before You Decide
Confirm that your boots have a rear notch, since the semi-automatic rear attachment depends on that fit. Check that the intended use is snow or light ice rather than more demanding terrain. Also confirm the colour variant and included anti-balling plates before choosing an offer.
